Dear St. Thomas Families:
We are excited to kick off Catholic Schools Week 2021 starting this Sunday. This is a special week where Catholic schools nationwide celebrate being communities of faith, excellence, and service. Thank you for your commitment to our school and being a part of the St. Thomas family, especially during these difficult times. We look forward to celebrating and praying together all week long. Please see the schedule for themes and activities for the upcoming week.

Estamos muy emocionados de comenzar nuestra celebración de semana de escuelas Católicas 2021 este domingo. Esta es una semana muy especial donde escuelas Católicas a nivel nacional están celebrando el ser comunidades de fe, excelencia, y servicio. Gracias por su total dedicación a nuestra escuela y por formar parte de la familia de Santo Tomas, especialmente durante estos tiempos difíciles. Ansiamos celebrar y orar juntos toda la semana. Sunday (1/31): Celebrating Your Parish
Catholic Schools benefit all year long from their religious guidance, prayers, and support parishes provide.
- School-wide virtual mass celebrated by Fr. Mario at 10:45am. (Zoom link will be sent to parents via email.)
- Enrollment videos and information will be posted. Please share with family and friends who may be interested in joining the St. Thomas family!
Monday (2/1): Celebrating Your Community
A central aspect of Catholic education is the importance of service to others.

- School spirit day FREE DRESS. Wear blue and Royals gear to show our school spirit!

Tuesday (2/2): Celebrating Vocations
By focusing on faith, knowledge and service, Catholic schools prepare children to use their God-given talents to the fullest later in life.
- 8am morning assembly on Zoom! (Same link)
- Celebrating careers! Kids can dress up and/or write about what they want to be when they grow up. One class representative to share during morning assembly.
Wednesday (2/3): Celebrating Families
Parents, guardians, and family members play a vital role in Catholic education as they instill values and expectations for academic excellence in their children at home.
- 8am morning assembly on Zoom! (Same link)
- Parents are invited to Cafecito Time via Zoom at 9:30am with Mr. Cuevas and the office staff! (Zoom link will be emailed to parents.)
- Students are invited to wear matching outfits with parents. Families may share pictures for IG!
- We encourage parents to have a special lunch/picnic with their kids.
Thursday (2/4): Celebrating Your Students
On this day, we celebrate our students and recognize their many accomplishments.

- Free dress day! Classes will have fun buddy activities to celebrate!
Friday (2/5): Celebrating Faculty, Staff, and Volunteers
On this day we honor and thank the teachers, administrators, and staff for their work.
- School mass via Zoom. Please log-in by 7:55am. Same Zoom link as usual.
- 12:15PM DISMISSAL. Students may dress up as a teacher/staff member!
