Join Archbishop Gomez in supporting the Rams to benefit students
Archbishop José H. Gomez and Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are taking part in a friendly wager for this Sunday’s big game that will benefit Catholic school students. In one unified moment, they will cheer on their home teams while wagering some delicious Cincinnati’s own Graeter’s ice cream and savory treats from Porto’s Bakery in Los Angeles.
Everyone is encouraged to get involved in this friendly exchange by donating to support Catholic school students in the name of your favorite team! Visit BishopsBigGame.com or follow #BishopsBigGame on social media to see how you can participate.
Donations are being accepted to benefit each archdiocese’s Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) in the spirit of the big game. The CEF of the “winning” archdiocese will receive 60% of the total fund and the CEF of the other archdiocese will receive 40% of the total fund. All proceeds collected will go directly to the respective CEF which provides needs-based tuition assistance for attending Catholic schools. To get things started each archbishop has made of a donation of $1,000 to the joint fund.
